I decided to call this Lil girl Mika. After Mika our students that recently visited. Malenas Big sister. She needed a name of special properties, meaning fragrance song and beautiful. All the things she is. But now were going to ask one thing of her. To stay strong. On her arrival yesterday i looked at her gunm and Saw she was very pale. This mornings Bloods show an immediate turn positive for leishmania. To which the Bloods have gone to the lab. We expect a high read. A Lil more time and and shed need a Blood transfusión. She has her kidneys affected and low Blood cells. Shes begun her treatment today, and Will be kept quiet and calm. For shes tired, and is struggling somewhat to catch her Breath. Rest. Good diet and medication is what she needs for now. Hopefully tomorrow we should have her lab ready back. Mika 🩷
